A free-standing slide cabinet houses a small collection of hand carved glass slides made of a graphite and mica composite.
The cloud images on the slides are sourced from internet searches, they set a tone of the atmospheric, ephemeral and mutable. This imagery is in reference to present day “cloud computing” which is represented by a cloud icon that embodies a weightless connectivity for our mobile selves. This cartoon cloud catalyzes cloud reveries that almost always negate the thousands of servers that are housed in massive buildings all over the country.
