Site-Specific Work at the Museum of American Glass Until December 2026

Jocelyne Prince’s site-specific window intervention, Ghost Optics at The Museum of American Glass, in Millville, New Jersey. The experimental piece was created at the 120 year-old Paul Wissmach Glass Company. To create the works, molten glass was poured into historic, industrial glass-bottle molds from the WheatonArts collection. The moulds had a variety of Americana imagery, including patriotic, historic and commemorative motifs. The host cast glass was fed into an industrial roller to create a series of flat glass sheets. These are fitted in the windows of the museum.
